Balsamic vinegar gives this berry crumble extra deliciousness.
Ingredients
- 2 cups blackberries
- 2 cups blueberries
- 2 cups raspberries
- 2 tablespoons Traditional Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sumac
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 1/2 cup Koroneiki Olive Oil
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- 1 teaspoon Apple Pie spice
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375 degrees.
- In a large bowl mix the berries, balsamic vinegar, sumac, sugar, lemon juice and zest, and a pinch of salt. Pour into a 9x9 baking dish.
- In a separate bowl mix the flour, oats, almonds, apple pie spice, olive oil and a pinch of salt. Top the berries with the crumble topping.
- Bake for 45 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Serve with ice cream and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.
