These ribs are rubbed with spices, cooked low and slow, and finished with butter and brown sugar. Seriously delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 rack spare ribs (about 3 pounds)

  • 1/2 cup Classic Dry Rub
  • 14 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 stick butter, chopped

Instructions

  1. Remove the membrane from the ribs and cut into 3 rib portions.

  2. Rub the Classic Dry Rub all over the ribs and marinade for at least 2 hours (up to overnight).

  3. Heat grill to high. Grill the meat side of the ribs for about 5 minutes to sear. Turn down the grill to 200 degrees and flip the ribs to meat side up. Cook for 2 hours.

  4. Lay out 2 layers of foil and place butter and 1/4 cup brown sugar. Place the ribs meat side down in the foil and wrap tightly.

  5. Increase the heat to 225 degrees and cook for another 2 hours.
