This zesty flavorful marinated steak is makes the perfect taco.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds skirt steak
- 1/3 cup Jalapeno Olive Oil
- 4 cloves garlic, grated
- 1 tablespoon Ancho Chile Powder
- 2 teaspoons Mexican Oregano
- 2 teaspoons Ground Cumin
- 1 cup cilantro, minced
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 white onion, finely minced

Tortillas, limes and more cilantro for serving
Instructions

Mix the olive oil, garlic, chile powder, oregano, cumin, cilantro, salt, orange juice, lime juice and soy sauce together. Place the skirt steak in a large bowl or food storage bag and coat with the marinade. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or up to over night.

Heat grill to high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and grill for about 3 minutes per side until cooked to medium rare. Let rest for 10 minutes and then thinly slice against the grain.

Serve with warmed tortillas, onion, cilantro and lime.
