Golden Chicken Noodle Soup

Golden Chicken Noodle soup - Olive Branch Oil & Spice

This is my go-to soup when I'm not feeling well. It is spiced with turmeric, ginger, cinnamon and cayenne that makes everything feel better. 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 2 quarts chicken stock
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 celery hearts, diced
  • 2 carrots, peeled and diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Roasted Garlic Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Golden Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup egg noodles

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the onion, celery, carrots, and garlic. Saute for 3 minutes. Stir in the golden milk, cayenne, and salt and saute for another 5 minutes until the veggies begin to soften. 
  2. Add the chicken stock and simmer for 10 minutes. 
  3. Stir in the chicken and egg noodles. Simmer for another 5-10 minutes until the noodles are tender. 

Takes 30 minutes

Serves 4 - 6
