These thin patties are packed with butter, topped with pepper jack cheese and sauteed onions and jalapenos. Double decker delicious!
Ingredients

2 pounds ground beef

1/2 stick butter

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon salt

2 teaspoons pepper

1 jalapeno, sliced

1 yellow onion, sliced

2 tablespoons Mission Trail Olive Oil

4 buns
-
8 slices pepper jack cheese
Instructions

In a large bowl mix the ground beef with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Grate the butter into the meat mixture. Form the meat into 8 thin patties.

Heat the olive oil in a skillet and add the onions and jalapenos with a pinch of salt. Cook until just caramelized.

Heat a large cast iron pan over medium high heat. Add the patties and cook for about 2 minutes per side. Top with the cheese and cook until melted.

Layer two patties in a bun and top with onions and jalapenos.
