Jalapeno Butter Ribeye - Olive Branch Oil & Spice

Jalapeno Butter Ribeye

This ribeye is rubbed with our delicious Steak Rub and topped with a yummy charred jalapeno butter. 

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless ribeyes
  • 1 tablespoon Steak Rub
  • 4 tablespoons butter, room temperature
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 1 lime
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Heat the grill on high heat
  2. Rub the steaks with the steak rub and marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature
  3. Add the steaks and jalapeno to the grill. Grill for about 6 minutes per side until the steaks are medium rare and the jalapeno is charred and tender.  Remove the steaks from the grill and rest for 10 minutes. 
  4. While the steaks rest make the jalapeno butter. Remove the stem from the jalapeno and chop finely chop the jalapeno. Add to the butter with the juice of half a lime and a teaspoon of salt. Mix well.
  5. Top the steaks with the jalapeno butter and enjoy!

Takes 40 minutes

Serves 2-4
