This is a flavorful quick meal with sear pork chops in a flavorful mustard cream sauce.
Ingredients
- 4 thin cut bone-in pork chops
- 1 teaspoon smoked sweet paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Koroneiki Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Season the pork chops with paprika, salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the pork chops to the hot pan and sear for 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- Turn the heat down to medium and add butter to the pan. Add the onion and garlic and saute for 5 minutes until tender. Add the cider to the pan and simmer for 2 minutes. Whisk in the dijon mustard and cream, then slide the pork chops back into the pan and simmer for about 3 minutes until the pork chops are cooked to an internal temp of 145 degrees.
