Pretzel Chicken Tenders - Olive Branch Oil & Spice

Craveable chicken tenders coated in crushed pretzels and served with honey mustard.

Ingredients

Chicken Tenders

Honey Mustard

  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Add the oil to a skillet and heat over medium high.
  2. In a shallow bowl, add the crushed pretzels and bread crumbs. In second shallow bowl add the eggs and Pub Fries seasoning and whisk to combine. In a third shallow bowl add the flour. 
  3. Coat each chicken tender with the flour, then egg, then the pretzels. Add to the oil and fry for 3-4 minutes per side.  Remove and place on a tray with a wire rack. Repeat for all the chicken tenders.
  4. While the chicken tenders cook, make the honey mustard by mixing the mayo, dijon mustard, honey, apple cider, salt and pepper.
  5. Serve the chicken tenders with the honey mustard and enjoy!
