I love peppermint bark during the holidays. This recipe is super easy and comes together in about 10 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 bag dark chocolate chips
- 1 bag white chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 6 candy canes, crushed
Instructions
- Line a sheet pan with parchment paper
- Put the dark chocolate chips in a microwave save bowl and add 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil. Do the same with the white chocolate chips in another bowl. Microwave the chocolate chips in 20 second increments, stirring well until melted and smooth. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract to each bowl of melted chocolate.
- Pour the white melted chocolate onto the sheet pan and smooth into a single layer. Pour the dark chocolate over the white chocolate and smooth. Use a knife or skewer to swirl the chocolates together. Top with the crushed candy canes and sprinkle with sea salt.
- Transfer to the refrigerator for 1 hour. Once set cut or break the bark into pieces to serve.
