This is a super comforting meal of spaghetti with a delicious meaty ragu baked with lots of cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, grated
- 2 tablespoons Nocellara del Belice olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, grated
- 2 tablespoons Spaghetti Seasoning
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 28 ounce can crushed tomatoes
- 1 pound spaghetti
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Bring a large salted pot of water to a bowl and cook pasta to al dente.
- While the pasta cooks make the sauce by heating olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion, tomato paste, garlic and spaghetti seasoning and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned through about 8 to 10 minutes. Add the tomatoes, salt, pepper and a 1/4 can of water. Simmer for 20 minutes.
- When the spaghetti is cook to al dente, drain and toss with the pasta sauce.
- Transfer the spaghetti to a baking dish and top with parmesan and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
