Crushed coriander and pepper gives this simply grilled beef tenderloin great flavor. I like to serve these with Sesame Sprouts.
Ingredients
-
4 6-8 ounce beef tenderloin fillets
-
1 tablespoon coriander seed
-
1 tablespoon black peppercorn
-
1 teaspoon salt
-
2 tablespoons Garlic Olive Oil
Instructions
-
Preheat grill to 500 degrees.
-
Crush the coriander and peppercorns in a mortar and pestle. Mix with the olive oil and coat top and bottom of the steak with the mixture.
-
Grill the steaks for 6 minutes per side for medium rare (or until cooked to desired temperature).
-
Once cooked, cover loosely with foil and rest the steak for 10 minutes
Note: If you don’t have a mortar and pestle you can toss the whole spices in a small baggy and crush with a meat mallet or instrument of choice.
