This is a delicious easy steak dinner with skirt steak marinated in garlic and balsamic vinegar served over an Italian spin on chimichurri.
Ingredients
Steak
- 2 pounds skirt steak
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup Traditional Aged Dark Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/4 cup Koroneiki Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon Tuscan Seasoning
- 2 teaspoons salt
Italian Chimichurri
- 2 cups parsley, minced
- 1 cup Garlic Fused Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 2 tablespoons Italian Red Wine Vinegar
- 1 shallot, minced
Instructions
- Mix the garlic, balsamic vinegar, oil, tuscan seasoning, and salt together. Place the skirt steak in a large bowl and pour the marinade over. Cover and marinate for 2 hours.
- Mixed the parsley, olive oil, salt, red pepper flakes, shallot and red wine vinegar together and set aside.
- Heat the grill to high.
- Remove the skirt steak from the marinade and grill for 4 minutes per side.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain. Add the chimichurri to a serving platter and top with the sliced steak. Enjoy!
Takes 15 minutes (plus marinating time)
Serves 4-6
Note: You can swap out the skirt steak for flank steak or a cut of choice.
