Classic beef chili with ground beef, bacon, chiles, and beans. This recipe feeds a crowd and is perfect for game day!
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 5 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 jalapenos, chopped
- 2 cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 cans pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- 3 tablespoons Chile Con Carne
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 28 ounce can crushed tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1/4 cup Traditional Aged Dark Balsamic Vinegar
- 2 cups beef stock
- Cheddar cheese and cilantro for serving
Instructions
- Add bacon to a large pot and cook until just crisp. Add the ground beef and saute until browned.
- Once the beef is browned, add the onion, garlic, jalapenos, tomato paste, balsamic vinegar, chile con carne, salt and pepper. Saute for 5 minutes until the onion is soft.
- Add the beans, tomatoes, and beef stock. Simmer for 30 minutes.
- Serve with cheddar and cilantro
