These are a treat! Brats and onions simmered in beer, then grilled until they’re crisp, snuggled in a toasted bun and topped with onions, kraut, and mustard.
Ingredients

6 brats

6 buns

4 cans of beer

1 onion, sliced

Sauerkraut

Whole grain mustard
Instructions

Add the beer to a pot with the sliced onions and brats. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 20 minutes.

Heat grill to high.

Remove the brats from the beer and grill for about 5 minutes per side until crisp.

Serve with toasted buns, beer onions, sauerkraut and mustard.
