Blackened Salmon

This is my favorite way to have salmon. The spicy, smoky spice blend forms a great crusty and the skin is nice and crispy. The best part? It is ready in under 15 minutes!


  • 1 pound salmon filet

  • 2 tablespoons Blackening Seasoning
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


  1. Coat the salmon with the blackening seasoning

  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat then add the salmon flesh side down.

  3. Cook for 5 minutes, then flip and cook skin side down for until 5 to 6 minutes until cooked through.

  4. Top with lemon zest and juice.

Takes 15 minutes
