Perfectly tender bites of steak cooked in extra garlicky butter.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pound New York strip or tenderloin, cut into small chunks
- 2 tablespoons Koroneiki Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 teaspoons pepper
- 1 stick of butter
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoons thyme
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions

Toss the steak with oil, salt and pepper.

Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the steak and cook for a couple minutes per side to sear. Remove and set aside.

Turn the heat to medium and add the wine to the skillet scraping off the yummy bits. Simmer for 1 minute then add the butter to melt. Add the garlic, thyme, Worcestershire and a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook for 3 minutes then return the steak to the pan. Toss the steak well in the butter sauce and cook for another couple minutes until medium rare.
