A big plate of perfectly delicious boneless wings is a weeknight treat!
Ingredients
-
1 pound boneless chicken breast, cut into chunks
-
1 cup buttermilk
-
1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Hot Chicken seasoning
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon Granulated Garlic
-
1 stick butter
-
1/2 cup hot sauce (I prefer Signature Sweet Habanero)
-
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
-
2 cloves garlic, grated
-
Peanut oil for frying
-
Blue cheese dressing and celery sticks for serving
Instructions
-
Heat about 2 inches of oil in a large deep skillet
-
In a large bowl mix together the buttermilk, egg and Hot Chicken seasoning. In a separate bowl add the flour and granulated garlic. Coat the chicken with the buttermilk mixture then the flour. Repeat to double coat.
-
Once the oil is hot add the chicken in a single layer. Cook for about 5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on a wire rack. Repeat with the remaining chicken.
-
While the chicken cooks make the buffalo sauce. Melt the butter over medium heat in a small pot. Add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Add the hot sauce and Worcestershire and mix to combine. Simmer for a few minutes until the chicken is done.
-
Once the chicken is done add to a large bowl and toss with the buffalo sauce.
-
Serve with blue cheese dressing and celery sticks.
