I grew up eating a salad like this that my grandma made with cucumbers straight from the garden. Cucumbers and red onion tossed with ranch dressing - simple and so delicious!
Ingredients
-
2 cucumbers, peeled and sliced
-
1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
-
3/4 cup sour cream
-
1/2 cup buttermilk
-
1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped
-
1/4 cup dill, finely chopped
-
2 teaspoons garlic powder
-
1/2 lemon, juiced
-
1 teaspoon salt
-
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
-
Mix the sour cream, buttermilk, herbs, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt and pepper together.
-
In a large bowl toss the cucumbers, red onion and about half the ranch dressing together. Add more ranch dressing until coated, but not drenched.
