This is one of my favorite things to make when it is peak basil and tomato season! Warm pasta is tossed with fresh tomatoes, basil and parmesan to make a flavorful, creamy, delicious bowl of pasta.
Ingredients
- 1 pound spaghetti
- 4 cups tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh chopped basil
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- 2 tablespoons butter, diced
- 1 tablespoons Traditional White Aged Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/4 cup Garlic Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti to al dente.
- White the pasta cooks, add the tomatoes, basil, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt and red pepper flakes to a large bowl and toss to combine.
- When the pasta is cooked, add about 1/4 cup of pasta water to the tomatoes. Add the warm spaghetti, butter and parmesan and toss to combine.
