This is an easy and super delicious peach cobbler with caramelized peaches and a thin crisp layer of vanilla bean cake.
Ingredients
- 6 peaches, pitted and sliced
- 1 stick butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Lemon White Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon Vanilla Bean Paste
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375 degrees.
- Melt the butter in a large ovenproof skillet over medium heat. Add the peaches, brown sugar, and balsamic vinegar. Saute for 5 minutes until caramelized.
- While the peaches saute, mix the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, egg, milk and vanilla bean paste until smooth.
- Pour the cake batter over the peaches and transfer to the oven. Bake for 30 minutes.
- Serve warm with ice cream.
