This is such a simple and delicious way to eat your green beans. Fresh green beans are steamed and tossed with garlic olive oil and lemon and topped with parmesan.
Ingredients
- 3 cups green beans, trimmed and cut into 2 in pieces
- 1/4 cup Garlic Fused Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 2 tablespoons parmesan, grated
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Bring a pot of water to simmer. Add green beans to a steaming basket and steam for about 5 minutes until just tender.
- Add the steamed green beans to a serving bowl and toss with olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper and top with parmesan.
Takes 10 minutes
