This is a flavorful quick meal with sear pork chops in a flavorful mustard cream sauce.
Ingredients
- 4 thin cut bone-in pork chops
- 2 teaspoons
Pork Rub - 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 tablespoon coarse grain mustard
- 2 tablespoons
Koroneiki Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup parsley, minced
Instructions
- Rub the pork chops on both sides with Pork Rub.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the pork chops to the hot pan and sear for 3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- Turn the heat down to medium. Add the butter and chicken stock to the pan. Simmer for 2 minutes and season with salt and pepper. Whisk in the cream and mustard, then slide the pork chops back into the pan and simmer for about 3 minutes until the pork chops are cooked to an internal temp of 145 degrees. Top with parsley.
