This is a delicious, quick meal with pan seared pork chops, tomatoes, onions and fennel.
Ingredients
- 2-4 1 inch thick bone in pork chops
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 large fennel bulb, thinly sliced
- 1 28 ounce can diced tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons Pizza Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons Garlic Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the pork chops with the pizza seasoning. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and sear the pork chops for about 3 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
- Add the onions and fennel to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes until just tender. Add the tomatoes and 1/3 can of water to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Return the pork chops to the skillet and simmer for about 15 minutes until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees.
- Top with parsley and enjoy!
