This is such a simple and satisfying dinner with Italian sausage, broccolini, pasta and cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 bunch broccolini, chopped
- 1 small onion, grated
- 1 pound orecchiette
- 1/2 cup parmesan grated
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons Garlic Fused Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 cup chicken stock
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta to al dente.
- While the pasta cooks, make the sauce. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook for 3 minutes. Add the sausage and cooked until browned, breaking it apart into small pieces. Add the broccolini, salt and pepper and cook for 3 minutes. Add the chicken stock and simmer until the pasta is cooked.
- Once the pasta is cooked, drain and toss with the sauce. Stir in the cheese and enjoy.
