This is a super fast and flavorful shrimp and noodle dish with tons of garlic, a touch of sichuan, and sesame.
Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon sichuan peppercorns, crushed
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Mirin
- 1 teaspoon fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 1 pound noodles (soba, ramen or spaghetti)
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the noodles to al dente.

While the noodles cook, heat the butter in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the garlic and sichuan and cook for 2 minutes. Add the shrimp and cook for about a minute per side. Add the soy sauce, mirin, fish sauce and sesame oil. Cook for 1 minute.

Add a splash of pasta water then toss the shrimp and sauce with the noodles. Top with sesame seeds.
