This is an easy homemade tomato sauce that is great to have on hand for pasta, pizza, and more.
Ingredients

1/4 cup Nocellara del Belice Olive Oil

1 yellow onion, grated

3 garlic cloves, grated

3 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped or 1 tablespoon dried

2 28 oz cans crushed tomatoes

2 teaspoons salt
Instructions

Heat olive oil in pan. Add the onion, garlic and thyme cooking until onion is soft 3-5 minutes

Add tomatoes, season with salt and bring to a boil then simmer about 30 minutes.
Note: Use with in one week refrigerated or 6 months frozen.
Takes 40 minutes
