Smoked Pork Tenderloin - Olive Branch Oil & Spice

Smoked Pork Tenderloin

Sep 07, 2024

This is my favorite way to have pork tenderloin. It is marinated in a flavor packed mixture of spices, maple syrup, mustard, thyme and orange juice then smoked low and slow. If you don’t have a smoker marinade and grill for an equally delicious option.

Ingredients

  • 2 pork tenderloins

  • 2 tablespoons Classic Dry Rub

  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard

  • 1/4 cup orange juice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk the dry rub, thyme, maple syrup, mustard and orange juice together. Place the pork tenderloins in a large ziploc bag and pour the marinade over the pork. Marinate for 2 hours or up to overnight.

  2. Heat the smoker to 225 degrees. Add the pork and cook for about 2.5 hours until the pork is cooked to an internal temp of 140 degrees.

  3. Rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Don’t have a smoker? Heat the grill to high and cook the tenderloin for about 15 minutes per side until cooked through!

Takes 2.5 hours (plus marinating time)
