This is my favorite way to have pork tenderloin. It is marinated in a flavor packed mixture of spices, maple syrup, mustard, thyme and orange juice then smoked low and slow. If you don’t have a smoker marinade and grill for an equally delicious option.
Ingredients
-
2 pork tenderloins
-
2 tablespoons Classic Dry Rub
-
2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
-
2 tablespoons maple syrup
-
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
-
1/4 cup orange juice
Instructions
-
In a bowl, whisk the dry rub, thyme, maple syrup, mustard and orange juice together. Place the pork tenderloins in a large ziploc bag and pour the marinade over the pork. Marinate for 2 hours or up to overnight.
-
Heat the smoker to 225 degrees. Add the pork and cook for about 2.5 hours until the pork is cooked to an internal temp of 140 degrees.
-
Rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Don’t have a smoker? Heat the grill to high and cook the tenderloin for about 15 minutes per side until cooked through!
Takes 2.5 hours (plus marinating time)
