Spinach and Artichoke Baked Ziti

If baked ziti and spinach and artichoke dip had a baby you'd get this delicious dinner

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ziti
  • 10 ounces frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 8 ounce cream cheese, room temp
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 jar marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Bring a large salted pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta to al dente
  2. Heat oven to 375 degrees
  3. In a large bowl mix the spinach, artichokes, cream cheese, sour cream, 1 cup of mozzarella, parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes.
  4. In a baking dish add a layer of marinara sauce, then add half the ziti, add half the marinara sauce, and dollop half the spinach mixture. Mix slightly with a spoon, then repeat with the remaining pasta, sauce and spinach. Top with the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella. 
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and cook for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.

Takes 1 hour
