Quick and delicious shrimp cooked in butter, wine, lemon, garlic and capers.
Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 2 cloves garlic, grated
- 2 tablespoons capers
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Pasta or crusty bread for serving
Instructions

Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium heat. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper and cook in the butter for a couple minutes per side until nearly cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

To the skillet, add the wine and lemon juice and simmer for a couple minutes. Add the remaining butter, garlic, and capers and simmer for another 2 minutes then return the shrimp to the sauce.

Serve over spaghetti or with crusty bread.
