This is my absolute favorite soup. It is supremely spicy and wonderfully craveable.
Ingredients

4 strips of bacon, chopped

3 habanero peppers, seeded and minced (fewer or a milder pepper if you like less heat)

1 yellow onion, chopped

2 garlic cloves, chopped

1 28 oz can whole tomatoes

4 cups chicken stock

2 cans black beans, drained and rinsed

1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Instructions

Add bacon to pot and sauté until almost cooked through.

Add onion, peppers and garlic. Season to taste with salt and pepper and cook until soft, 8-10 minutes.

Add beans and tomatoes, crushing tomatoes gently.

Add chicken stock, season with salt and pepper and simmer for 30 minutes.
Takes 40 minutes
