These simple Thai inspired lettuce wraps are super flavorful and ready in about 15 minutes!
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 shallot, sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup mint, chopped
- 2 limes, juiced
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons Jalapeno Fused Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 head bibb lettuce
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the pork and saute for about 5 minutes until mostly cooked through. Add the shallots and garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
- Mix the lime juice, fish sauce, brown sugar and red pepper flakes. Add to the pork along with the chopped herbs. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Serve with bibb lettuce.
